Bristol Croquet Club Membership
Bristol Croquet Club Membership is open to anyone over the age of 10 who has a croquet handicap.
If you don't have a croquet handicap, or it's a distant memory, please go to the try croquet page.

Membership Categories
- Full Member
- Playing Member
- Aged 18 and over
- Living within 15 miles (by road) of the club
- Who has named Bristol as their primary club
- Playing Member
- Associate Member
- Playing Member
- Aged 18 and over
- Living further than 15 miles (by road) from the club, or who has named another club as their primary club
- Playing Member
- Junior Member
- Aged 10-17 years on September 30th last
- Student Member
- Aged 18-24 years on September 30th last and in full-time or part-time education
- Social Member
- Non-Playing Member
Subscription Fees
- Different fees may be charged for Full and Associate members, depending on the distance between BCC and the member's primary home address
- Fees may be charged on a sliding scale if the initial membership starts later in the playing season
Membership of the club allows you to participate in all croquet activities without any additional fees, except some social occasions and fund-raisers that are advertised in advance. The club also runs a number of non-croquet activities, which sometimes carry a small charge to cover costs. These include table tennis, Scrabble, crafty coffee mornings and there's even been an art section!
The membership year ends on 28 February, and annual subscriptions are due by this date in readiness for the Annual General Meeting, which is normally held in early March. A discount is offered if paid by 31 December.
